Our Remy Hair comes directly from India where Indian women donate their hair during a spiritual ceremony. These women deliberately give their hair. No one is forced to do so and there is no financial incentive. However there is an international demand for hair and Indian Temples sell it to local professionals and use the revenue to support community projects (health, education..).

Non-Remy Hair comes primarily from China and are sold as "natural hair" or "human hair".

Chinese hair has a thick diameter. In order to reduce it , the hair undergoes a chemical treatment. Unfortunately, this treatment destroys the hair's natural cuticle. It is replaced by silicone, so that the hair does not tangle. Although this hair may appear to be soft and silky, it will only last a few weeks. After washing it a few times it loses it appeal and starts tangling. 

On the other hand, our Remy Hair is 100% Indian Human Hair that has not been chemically treated in any way.

Remy hair extensions are designed to last for up to 2 or 3 uses. This hair can be worn in a weave for as long as three months. With Remy Hair it is often possible to re-use some of the hair for a second or third application which will result in reduced costs.

Our Capbello Remy Hair is sewn on lightweight, thin wefts for a natural look. It is less bulky than a machine weft, making it better for undetectable weaving.

You can treat your extensions just like your own hair.(blow dry, straightening irons and curling tongs etc). Hair extensions are a great way of achieving a bold new or natural color.

How much hair should I get?  <Back to Questions>  

It depends on what you planning to get done. If you would like to get a full head of extensions then you may want to buy 2 packets. If you wish to just add length and body, then 1 packet is more than enough.
